Google finally showed off its Stadia video gaming platform at the 2019 Game Developers Conference.

While there is no pricing or date set for the streaming platform’s launch, the company says it will be coming in 2019. Players will be able to quickly load games on smartphones, tablets, desktop computers, and Chromecasts.

What is the pricing model for Stadia, and what are the additional costs associated with the service?

On June 6th, 2019, Google held its Stadia Event, a presentation detailing the launch of their highly anticipated cloud-based gaming service. The event was broadcast live on YouTube, and viewers were able to witness the unveiling of the platform, the games that will be available, and the key features of the service.

If you missed the event or simply want a quick summary of the key points, here is your opportunity to watch the Stadia Event in five minutes:

The presentation began with an introduction from Phil Harrison, the Vice President of Google. Phil began by discussing the concept of Stadia and how it will change the face of gaming across the world.

After the introduction, we were shown a video introducing some of the games that will be available on Stadia. Some of the biggest names in gaming will be featured, including Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Doom Eternal, and The Division 2.

Then, we were given a demonstration of how Stadia will work. It was explained that Stadia will rely on Google’s powerful servers to render and stream games to players. This means that you will not need an expensive gaming PC or console to play games on Stadia.

The Stadia Controller was also introduced, boasting features such as a built-in microphone and a button that will allow players to capture screenshots and videos easily. The controller will connect directly to Google’s servers through WiFi, ensuring high-quality and low-latency gameplay.

During the presentation, it was announced that the first launch of Stadia will take place in November of 2019, with the service being available in 14 countries in total. The price of the service was also revealed to be $9.99 per month, with additional games that can be purchased separately.

Finally, the presentation ended with an announcement of how certain developers are already working on games that are powered by Stadia, and a few of these games were also shown.

In conclusion, the Stadia Event was a significant announcement for the gaming industry, showcasing Google’s innovative take on cloud-based gaming. Gamers of all varieties will surely be excited to try this new technology out when it is released later this year, and the world will be eager to see the impact that Stadia will have on the industry in the coming years.
