Google Stadia Games and Price REVEALED – And It’s a JOKE!

Google Stadia promised to be the future of gaming.
And during the Stadia Connect today we learned about pricing, games, specs needed, and much more about Stadia. What Google Stadia games are we getting? What specs are needed? Is it better than a Nintendo Switch or PS4? Let’s talk!
What is included in the Stadia Founder’s Edition, and how much does it cost?
The highly anticipated Google Stadia, a cloud-based gaming platform, recently announced its game lineup and pricing model. Unfortunately for avid gamers, the reveal left many feeling disappointed and underwhelmed.
First of all, the game lineup was lackluster. While there were some well-known titles such as Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Doom Eternal, the rest were relatively unknown or already available on other platforms. This begged the question: why invest in a new gaming platform if there are no exclusive games to make it worth while?
But it wasn’t just the game lineup that was a letdown. The pricing model for Stadia was also revealed, and it left gamers scratching their heads. The Pro subscription service, which is required for players to access the Stadia platform, costs $9.99 per month. However, this only grants access to a small number of free games, with the rest needing to be purchased at full price.
To make matters worse, the pricing of games on Stadia was revealed and it’s nothing short of a joke. Many of the games that are available on Stadia are priced higher than they are on other platforms, such as the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. For example, Borderlands 3 costs $59.99 on Stadia, while it’s currently on sale for $29.99 on the PlayStation Store.
Furthermore, the Stadia Founder’s Edition, which includes the Stadia controller, a Chromecast Ultra, and a three-month Pro subscription, costs a whopping $130. This is a steep price to pay for a gaming platform that has yet to prove itself.
Overall, the reveal of Google Stadia’s games and pricing model was a disappointment for many gamers. With a lackluster game lineup and high prices, it’s hard to justify investing in this new platform. Only time will tell if Google can make the necessary changes to make Stadia worth the investment.
